MORAL IDENTITY, ALTRUISM AND MEANING IN LIFE IN TEACHER CANDIDATES

This study aims to identify relations among meaning of life, moral identity, and altruism levels teacher candidates whether they vary depending on some variables. Among the quantitative research methods, relational screening model, a subtype general was used in this study. The graduates seniors studying Izmir Manisa provinces are who participated Meaning Life Scale developed by Akın Taş (2011) measure perception Moral Identity Yılmaz (2015) Altruism Ummet, Eksi Otrar (2013) participants as data collection instruments. According results, level female found be statistically significantly higher than male; however, there no gender-based difference identity life. Furthermore, life graduate senior students; other hand, differed their graduation status. Both statistical significance positive correlation were between candidates' identities level. Consequently, prospective teachers predictors significant manner.
